outside the lines // visiting Seattle

next month will be my first time to the northwest - Seattle, baby, here i come! but i'm lost when it comes to packing. i know to pack for rain and "light layers", but does anyone actually know what light layers means?! when i think layers, i think knits and chunky knits at that, but that might be too hot for Seattle in october.

so i need your help, do you have light layers you love? if so, please share them with me! we are planning some light hiking, city tours and possibly San Juan. share what you pack when "light layers" are a must in the comments - i'm desperate.
