custom portraits of a pet are incredibly personal; i pay special attention to your fur baby's park - those little details that makes them… well, them! that cute spot on the inside of their ear or their sharp blue eyes.

creative process - now fully digital
the beginning : color palette & photos
each custom begins as a photo from the client; their pet in the perfect pose, with the option to include a preferred color palette. if there’s no preferred color palette, i will select colors that compliment your baby. i’ll deliver a wholistic color brief to provide a feel for the portrait i’ll create.
the main : details are everything
next, i sketch & develop a base image. once rough color is placed, i spend time noticing their charming spots, adorable underbite or crooked ears - details are key! each whisker, the extra splash or dded hair texture & the just a hint of magic. when the finished portrait is revealed, the image is tailored to be something completely unique.
finished works : paper or canvas
watercolor paper : your finished piece will be printed on high-quality, fine art cold press watercolor paper by professionals and shipped to me, where i inspect and usually sign each one. this paper has a gorgeous texture & lets the dimension i created really shine.
1.5” framed canvas : your finished piece will be giclee printed on high-quality stretched canvas then framed in a wood floater frame in one of three color options: white, black OR natural wood. hanging hardware will be installed on the back. and the edges will be colored in one of the accent colors approved during the color brief.
note: if the design of your custom turns out just so, there is a possibility that it will become a happy addition to my collection in the shop.

complete the form during the checkout and have 1-3 high quality photos ready for email. once i have received your form information, i will reach out and ask for photos. please provide photos with lots of contrast (lights & shadows) - they work best

i only accept a limited number of custom orders to ensure that each one receives the proper care and attention. all orders are first come, first serve. only a processed order will reserve your spot in line. if you see "sold out" this is because i am no longer accepting orders for the remainder of the month. if you would like to be notified when i am again, please complete the form at the bottom of this page.

a color brief document outlining main & complimentary colors & inspiration for the portrait based on client-provided images
physical
one (1) custom of your pet printed on either fine art cold press watercolor paper OR a framed canvas
for paper prints a 1/4" border (included in the final size) to help with matting + framing
for framed canvases, a border color will be applied to the sides of the canvas. this will be decided during the color brief & will only be slightly visible upon framing
each print is enclosed + well protected (prints are usually in a tube) for safe shipping
