inspired by the various forms of the waves and setting your phone to vacation mode, this limited micro series of original pieces - vacation mode sand, vacation mode surf, vacation mode depth - were created using vivid watercolors and sprays of glittering metallic on 6x6" Aquaboard. this board medium is better than paper as it allows the colors to rest of the surface for a brighter shade. and the frame is a beautiful black metal, thin lined design that will look great with any decor.

each piece is truly unique, created once, and signed. these beautiful original pieces are very limited with only three (3) available. they look beautiful as a set OR individual. 

originals are always a risk to create. i see what i am hoping for in my head, but more often than not, they don't turn out anything like that in the end. and i love it! each one of my originals are completely their own. during the process, i lay out the water for the rough shape, lay the color and let the magic happen. 

"vacation mode" abstracts are painted on 6x6" 1/4" thick Aquaboard with mixed media and framed in a slimline black metal frame with the finished size being 7x7". each order is shipped well packaged and protected.
